RERA Agent Registration under the RERA Act, 2016 is mandatory for all real estate agents, brokers, channel partners and consultants who facilitate buying or selling of RERA-registered properties. No agent can facilitate a transaction in a RERA-registered project without holding their own RERA Agent Registration Number. This applies to individuals and firms acting as property brokers.
Register on the state RERA website under Agent Registration section.
Enter agent name, address, PAN, and details of properties dealt.
Upload KYC, business registration and address proof.
Pay the RERA Agent Registration fee (state-specific, typically ₹10,000–₹25,000).
RERA Authority reviews the agent application for completeness.
RERA Agent Number allotted; must be displayed in all property listings.
